Glossary of Tremendously Important Terminology

FIRST, A NOTE:
You will find these terms used in my posts. These definitions are to help you understand what I mean when I use words or concepts that are too big or complex for you. Click the words being defined below to connect to the initial post in which they were used. As you read posts, if you see this color text, chances are you've found a glossary term, or I got bored and needed something to amuse myself. Check back here often, since I will be adding terms as often as I deem them too big or complex for you. For those of you who are very intelligent and have no need for this glossary, I congratulate you and hope to recommend you one day to this fine organization.

NOW, THE TERMINOLOGY:

Moratorium: Generally speaking, the temporary suspension of the doing of something. (Like paying debts or performing obligations and stuff.) As it relates to vocation, it could be a short period of time in which a person (typically a young person) takes some time off to figure things out like values, worldview, and probably the meaning of life. Our German friends call it Wanderjahre, which means "moving years." In American culture it is more likely called something to the effect of "being a lazy bum," or a "freeloading," or whatever. But what do Americans really know, anyways?
